60 - Hour Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault

THEN YOU COULD BECOME A VICTIM ADVOCATE
LIFT3 Support Group is looking for Volunteers to assist with
Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Crisis Calls, Shelter Family Advocate, Crisis Support,
Drop-In-Center Advocate, Court Accompaniment, Public Education Facilitators, etc.
Bi-lingual Spanish speaking applicants encouraged to apply.
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, FOLLOW THESE SIMPLE STEPS:
1. Complete a Volunteer Application. See link to Application below
2. Complete an initial interview with LIFT3 staff
3 Complete the 60-Hour Certificate Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault training
4. Pay associated Track fees
5. Submit to and pass a background check
6. Commit to a minimum of 4 hours per week for 12 months, OR Commit to a 20-Hour Internship. Hour commitment is contingent on the training Track volunteer chooses. See Volunteer Tracks below:
VICTIM ADVOCATE VOLUNTEER TRACKS : (Select the Track that Meets Your Needs)
1. TRACK A: Cost: $75.00 Certificate and Backgroud Check Fee
Volunteer MUST DONATE 4 Hours Per Week for 12 Months
or
2. TRACK B: Cost: $250.00 Certificate and Background Check Fee - Volunteer Not Obligated to 4 Hours Per Week Volunteer Time- But Must Arrange for a 40-Hour Internship
