60 - Hour Domestic Violence
Advocate Training


Are you interested in the law?  Are you sensitive to issues of Family Violence?

Do you want to support victim safety?

THEN YOU COULD BECOME A VICTIM ADVOCATE


LIFT3 Support Group is looking for Volunteers to assist with

Crisis Calls,  Crisis Shelter Support, Family Advocacy  
Drop-In-Center Assistance, Court Accompaniment, Public Education Facilitators, etc.


Bi-lingual Spanish
speaking applicants encouraged to apply.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, THEN FOLLOW THESE SIMPLE STEPS:

1.  Complete a Volunteer Application. See link to Application below

2. Complete an initial interview with LIFT3 staff

3 Complete the 60-Hour Domestic Violence training
 4.  Decide the track you are interested in and pay the associated Track fees

5. Submit to and pass a background check

 
 VICTIM ADVOCATE VOLUNTEER TRACKS : (Select the Track that Meets Your Needs)

1. TRACK 1:  Cost: $75.00 plus cost for Backgroud Check  
   MUST commit to volunteer 4 Hours Per Week for 12 Months 
  
OR

2.
TRACK 2:  Cost: $350.00 - No required volunteer hours 
But Must Arrange for a 20-Hour Externship with LIFT3
